THE DAY OF THE FLOOD

Friday July 20th will be a date that many will remember for a host of reasons, but for us at B&F it’s the day our showroom, stock room and service department was destroyed by 8ft of flood water.

We will use this page not just to record what happened, but to keep you informed of the progress in the rebuilding of our business.

Around 11pm The next morning

Fortunately our offices, which are on the first floor, are unaffected and we have relocated the service department to the first floor.

The front of the shop will be closed for some months, but the rear is open for you to visit us
9-5pm weekdays and 9-11am on Saturday.

Although it’s very difficult to manage without a showroom, we are using the power of the Internet and brochures to enable us to continue to trade. We have some great offers on Home Entertainment products and Home Appliances, so drop in and see us.

We have spent some time updating this web site and although we never see ourselves as an Internet trader, it’s hoped that you will find it useful for gathering information.

If you have any comments on the updated website please forward them to sales@brownandfincher.co.uk

On a positive note, the initial new design of the ground floor looks great (when agreed we will post them on this page) - we can’t wait to get started!

As of today 3/10/07, drying is still being carried out.
